Recognised by the High Sheriff of Cornwall

Big news for the White Gold Cornwall team!

We are incredibly honoured to share some wonderful feedback from the The High Sheriff of Cornwall, Harriet Wilder.

During a recent meeting with Chief Constable James Vaughan to discuss the evolving challenges facing young families today, the conversation turned to one thing: What is the most effective intervention for our youth?

The Chief Constable’s answer? Mentoring.

We are thrilled that the High Sheriff took that opportunity to champion the work we do here at White Gold. As she so powerfully put it:

“The need for support for young people is not diminishing—it is becoming greater and more complex. That is why I am in awe of the commitment, compassion, and determination shown by your team in continuing to provide this vital mentoring service.”

A huge thank you to the High Sheriff for her advocacy and for recognising the heart our mentors put into helping young people build a positive future. Onwards and upwards!
