On the 16th May 2017 both Sally Ackerley (Administrator) and Jill Green (Engagement Worker) were invited to one of the Queen’s Royal garden parties at Buckingham Palace on behalf of White Gold Cornwall.

Throughout the country, a long established network of sponsors is used to invite guests, who include Lord-Lieutenants, Societies and Associations, Government Departments, Local Government, the Services, the Church and other Faiths.  They nominate guests for invitation and hope in this way to achieve a representative cross section of the community.

White Gold Cornwall are very fortunate in that Colonel Edward Bolitho, the Lord Lieutenant of Cornwall is our Patron.  It was an invitation from Colonel Edward which allowed for the visit for services to the community. This was an indeed an honour and a privilege to be able to represent White Gold at this event and to help promote it’s work.
