Kate Moore

Hi, my name is Kate and I have lived in Cornwall for the last 30 years. During this time I have had a variety of jobs ranging from being a lifeguard to being a teacher. I have spent the last 10 years teaching in secondary schools in West Cornwall, enjoying the challenges and rewards that this role offered. As teachers, we have a hung responsibility.  We can either inspire or destroy young people by the use of our words and actions. It is vital that this responsibility is led clearly with a strong and clear vision as seen at White Gold.  Allowing every interaction we have with our young people helps them on their journey to succeed and therefore making a real difference to young people in Cornwall who need our support, help and guidance.

I am thrilled to be joining the White Gold team, but when I have down time, I enjoy travelling, music, food (mainly eating, rather than preparing) and spending time with my family and friends.
