I’m privileged to be supporting young people through White Gold Cornwall both as a frontline Engagement Worker and as the Service Support Manager.  After more than twenty years in schools in different settings including Kenya, and in several roles including as a teacher, SENCo, Safeguarding Lead and Head of the school, I realised that I wanted to spend more time being with young people in more relaxed environments.

I appreciate hearing the stories of the young people that I meet and I enjoy collaborating in planning activities and visiting new places.  As a trained counsellor and psychotherapist, I also try to support young people in whatever is going on for them.  Our sessions are very much led by the young person whilst maintaining safety and mutual respect.
