Yvonne Adams

Hi, my name is Yvonne. Born in Cornwall I have lived here all my life, I feel very privileged to live in such a beautiful County.

I am married to John; we have three adult daughters and three beautiful grandchildren. They all live close by and I love spending time as a family.

I have worked in various administrative roles throughout my career, including 35 years in an educational setting, working as a finance officer to attendance and examination officer.  During the last 15 years I have managed a secondary school’s SEN team.

I would love to write that in my free time I am running marathons, keeping fit and climbing mountains but alas this is not the case, I can be found reading in a quiet corner or taking walks at a leisurely pace to the nearest café to enjoy coffee and cake! I enjoy walking especially by the coast regardless of the weather. I love crafting, recently teaching myself to crochet via the wonders of YouTube.

Joining a community choir five years ago has been a lot of fun, we sing at local and charity events and in residential homes.

I am also proud to be a Cadet Leader for Devon and Cornwall Police, I am passionate about supporting young people in our community.
