White Gold Cornwall director appointed as new member of Local Action Group
Alan Milliner Director of White Gold Cornwall has been appointed as a new member of the ‘Coast to Coast’ Local Action Group (LAG)
The purpose of the LAG’s in Cornwall is to provide a forum for agencies including Community Interest Companies like White Gold Cornwall who represent the community to identify and consider need. The LAG makes applications to direct funding and other resources provided by the EU and UK to worthy causes. The ‘Coast to Coast’ group covers the central part of Cornwall from the north coast across to the English Channel.
There are four Local Action Groups in Cornwall with separate applications to deliver Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) and European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) funds that have been approved by DEFRA with a total of £7.3m allocated to Cornwall.
